Zinc bisglycinate is a form of zinc bound to two glycine molecules to form a complex. This form of zinc is considered more bioavailable than other forms of zinc, meaning it is better absorbed by the body.
We have chosen Albion® Minerals' highly absorbable TRAACS® zinc bisglycinate. Studies have shown that this chelated form of zinc bisglycinate is absorbed better than other forms such as zinc gluconate, zinc picolinate, zinc glycinate, and zinc oxide, in some cases up to 300%.
In a study comparing the oral bioavailability of the chelated form of zinc bisglycinate with that of zinc gluconate, the chelated form chosen by us from Albion® was absorbed 43% better.
Bioactive Vitamin B6
Vitamin B6 (also known as pyridoxine) is an essential water-soluble vitamin for the human body, which cannot synthesize it on its own. It is therefore important to obtain it through diet, particularly by consuming fruit and vegetables, or through supplementation.
Vitamin B6 is involved in many functions of the human body, including the synthesis of neurotransmitters, support of psychological functions, energy production, formation of red blood cells, regulation of homocysteine, and support of the immune system.
